Alce Nero chocolates are made from cocoa grown in Costa Rica, in the heart of Central America, in accordance with all fair trade rules. After harvesting, the cocoa beans are roasted and used to make chocolate according to an ancient Swiss chocolate master's recipe. Fairtrade certified (fair trade).
